Details

The Daruma doll is a traditional Japanese good luck charm modelled after Bodhidharma, the founder of Zen Buddhism. Typically purchased at the start of the new year, Daruma are used to make wishes and set goals by filling in one eye with a goal or wish in mind, and then filling in the second eye when that goal has been achieved.

This hand-printed and hand-painted linocut print is like a two-dimensional Daruma that you can proudly display as a reminder of goals to achieve or wishes that have come true.
