Squirrels, seeds & samaras | Letter writing set
Details
Lean into slow cozy season to connect with your loved ones with this beautifully handcrafted writing set to pen your messages of love, care and shared memories.
Life responds to light. With the turn of seasons comes shorter days with fading of light and change in the rhythm of things for creatures. The world embraces the slow season by preparing of it!
And it’s hard to miss busy squirrels in Autumn no matter the habitat. A tree dweller-the American red squirrels and ground-dwelling Eastern chipmunks stockpile seed cones, nuts (acorns, hickories, walnuts) and maple samaras that keep them going through colder months. The rarely seen Southern flying squirrels or more like gliding squirrels are quite resourceful and forage even in winters by digging through the snow pile to reach the ground. Aptly called agents of reforestation for the forgotten buried nuts/seeds will be little saplings come spring!
